Keyboard shortcuts that save the most time

This is a starter post, written by the NXPixels team so you can find answers from day one. Replies from members are welcome.

The ones we use all day (on a Mac use ⌘ for Ctrl):

  • V Move tool, T Text, L Lasso, C Crop
  • Ctrl+J duplicates a layer, Ctrl+D deselects
  • Ctrl+G groups, Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups
  • Shift+click to select several items, then Space evenly in Properties
  • Arrow keys nudge 1 pixel, Shift+arrow 10
  • Ctrl+0 fits the page to the screen, Ctrl+1 shows 100%
  • Hold Space and drag to move around
  • Ctrl+R shows the rulers
  • / on the home page jumps to search
