How do I colour just one word in a heading?

I want "SALE" in red and the rest of the heading in black.

SOLUTION

Double-click the text to edit it.
Select the word with your mouse (or Shift + arrow keys).
Click the A button in the bar above the page. It says Colour of the picked letters. Pick red.

Only that word changes. To go back to one colour, select the whole text box (without editing) and pick a colour.
