SOLUTION
Use Magic Grab: select the photo, open Magic (the wand) and click Magic Grab. The main subject moves onto its own layer and the gap behind it is filled in. Now drag the person wherever you like.
Draw a lasso first to choose which subject to grab. It uses one magic edit.
